“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie — Mugen Train” smashed down the box office generating such a huge amount of traction even with the pandemic issues going on. With this movie onboard the Japanese box office witnessed history being created—all credits to the creator Koyoharu Gotouge and his team who made this wonder happen. “Demon Slayer”, these words in inverted commas right here are not just words; they have a world of their own. Opening on October 16th, the movie had made around 44 million USD in a matter of just 4 days.

Well, now the mastermind creator Koyoharu Gotouge has thought of spreading his sheets a little by penning down a science fiction romantic comedy story as his next project.

Gouge and his team have started watching old sci-fi movies as much as possible to have a clear understanding of them and also to draw a line in perceptions as to how they used to watch such movies in childhood compared to how they watch them now. The guy’s comment showed his confidence and faith in how he will make creators “break out eight pack abs”.

In November 2019, Shueisha revealed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was the company’s second-highest selling manga in 2019 with Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece being the first.

102.892 million copies of the manga have been sold as of December 6.

The craze is on the peak, and a new Sci-Fi Romantic comedy is just what’s needed to diversify the taste and interest of all anime and manga lovers out there.
