What is Blue Exorcist Manga About?

The main protagonist of Blue Exorcist is Rin Okumura. He never really knew his biological father and was raised by Father Fujimoto. Later Rin finds out a terrible secret about himself from Father Fujimoto, he learns that he himself has the blood of satan and is a part infernal. Knowing this Rin makes a promise to eradicate satan from existence.

To achieve this, he must enter the ‘True Cross Academy’ and become a well-renowned exorcist. As he faces various hurdles it becomes difficult to fight demons as his demonic sword unleashes the infernal/demonic strength inside him.
