Cells at Work Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

After the cells heard about the viral infection, and start running away. They are backed by White Cells who try to defend them. U-1146 manages to stop the zombie virus cells that were about to kill Immune Cell and Memory Cell. Memory’s brain is going insane as he had dreamt about the happening. He will have to figure out some way to stop the zombie cells.

Memory cells figure out the key to achieving antibodies and order the Immune cell to make antibodies. However, Immune cells cannot make antibodies without more information on the Zombie Virus. Macrophage Cells joins the battle. She uses her blade and manages to defeat a lot of zombie cells.

U-1196 realizes that they need to find an antigen. Memory Cell and Immune Cell try to find clues about how to generate the antigen. A book hits the memory cell in the head and gets his memory back. He finds out that they have to insert a pathogen to improve protection against the disease.

Immune and memory arrive at the perfect time. They have made an antigen in the form of a cannon. They manage to defeat all the zombie cells using this cannon. After the battle ends, White Blood Cell and Red Blood Cell meet for some tea.

Cells at Work is based on a Japenese Manga series of the same name. Akane Shimizu is the mangaka behind Cells at Work. It tells the story of the functioning of the Human Body in the form of human-like cells. They all operate in the form of society.

An anime adaptation was announced back in 2018, and the series became really popular after that. Cells at Work Season 2 and Cells at Work Code Black which is a darker twist on cells at work also began airing.
