Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime recently aired its 181st episode and began following the ‘Kara’ arc from the main story. Countless manga readers have been looking forward to this arc. As per our sources, Boruto episode 182 will be covering up chapter 17 of the manga. Boruto anime has finally started following the plot from the manga.

From what we have seen so far, Jigen summons everyone to report the missing vessel. It took everyone else by shock except for Victor. Jigen mentions that the airship has gone missing, while everyone else complains; Victor mentions that they have a rough idea for the coordinates of where the airship crashed. Now, all they need to do is check around the area and retrieve the vessel.

In this post, we will be discussing the upcoming events of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 182 and the review of the previous episode. So, let us have a glance at the author’s critique of Episode 181:

Boruto Episode 181 – Author’s Review:

Overall, the episode did a fantastic job setting up the plot for the next few anime episodes. Boruto Ep 181 was titled, The Vessel.

Update: You might not know, but the Ikimonogakari, performer for the popular Naruto opening “Blue Bird” will be performing the new Boruto: Naruto Next Generations opening song.

The events in this episode revolve around the meeting of Jigen with his allies. In the first half, we see most of the members blaming Victor. Then we see a clash of fists between Koji and Victor – where Koji incinerates him. When Koji reports of this clash to Jigen, he orders Koji to reach out to the crashing site’s coordinates and kill anyone who has seen the airship.

While the second half revolves around Naruto vs. Boruto, several genins are there to spectate this fight; Meanwhile, Boruto is happy that he’s getting an opportunity to demonstrate his training results. Naruto takes on Boruto to test his new prosthetic hand. The episode ends with Konohamaru and Mugino inspecting the crashing ship, and something approaches them from the outside.

To be precise, what I and other fans(manga readers) are explicitly looking forward to in this episode is that one Mitsuki scene.

Boruto Episode 182

The title for the 182nd episode of Boruto anime is ‘Ao,’ which will be releasing this coming Sunday. The episode will be covering up Team 7 going on an escorting mission. Meanwhile, Konohamaru and Mugino are at the crash site. We can expect an early encounter between Kara, Konohamaru, and Mugino at the place.

As per the episode’s preview, Naruto will be assigning Boruto to escort Katasuke to Ryutan. Boruto seems a bit pissed at the quack scientist because of what happened during the chunin exams, but he accepts the mission anyway. As they head towards their destination through Thunder Car, they unexpectedly met one of Katasuke’s acquaintances: a former shinobi named Ao. Boruto Ep 182 will revolve around the journey of Team 7 and the research at the crashing site.

The anime is currently following the Ao arc, covering up chapters 16 to 23 of Boruto manga. Masashi Kishimoto has taken over the manga; we can finally expect the story he is known for.
